Jubilee - 4th Anniversary of the Collaboration Between “Mosaik” in Erkrath and GCP
From the beginning, GCP has supported the “Mosaik” initiative, making the rooms available free of charge (except utilities). The children living in “Sandheide” neighbourhood are welcome there to do their homework, helped by qualified educators and volunteers. The centre also organises events and workshops in the afternoon for the boys and girls.
“Mosaik” welcomes children to study, bake, play and do crafts
The regular special events and notably the Children’s Summer Party are very popular with the children. The summer party is organised every year in collaboration with GCP. Meanwhile the “Mosaik” initiative also offers services for adults and families, such as counselling for parents and the women’s café. “We are glad to see that Mosaik has developed into a sought-after meeting place for the residents of the neighbourhood”, says Mrs Katrin Petersen, the spokeswoman of GCP.
